​Craig Brown is a PGA Golf Professional serving as our Director of Instruction and an independent teacher here in Wichita Falls since 2014. Born and raised here in Wichita Falls, Craig began his career in golf at Denton Country Club in 1995 after college and semi pro football and 2 years of college golf. Craig had a long stay at Denton Country Club for 11 years. During his time there, Craig gained his PGA Class A status in 2003 and became very active in the Northern Texas PGA. When he left DCC, Craig worked at premier clubs in Dallas such as Lakewood Country Club and then at Bent Tree Country Club under PGA Hall of Fame, Texas Hall of Fame and Rules Official David Price. David was instrumental in Craig becoming the President of the Northern Texas PGA Metro Chapter, a Board Member of the NTPGA and serving on numerous committees within the Northern Texas PGA Section including Junior Golf. The NTPGA is recognized as one, if not the top PGA Section for Junior Golf. After a six year stay at Bent Tree CC, Craig became the Head Golf Professional at Wichita Falls CC in October of 2014 and left in 2016.

With spending time in many areas of the golf business, Craig has done many things for Junior Golf at all levels.  At Bent Tree CC, he built a very successful junior program that grew from 6 students to over 40 students during his tenure.  His junior program was instrumental in Bent Tree CC producing 4 NCAA Division I golfers within 5 years.  He has worked many hours with junior golfers to help not only prepare them for the golf course, but to learn some of life lessons through teaching.  He has had the pleasure of working with PGA Tour players Will Zalatoris, Colt Knost and JJ Henry to name a few.

Craig is not only a successful teacher working with students at all levels, but he has also been recognized by his peers and has won a few championships within the NTPGA.
